  • Let's Go Celtics!
Even Jaylen’s defense has been bad tonight. Covington was wide open there.
He hasn't been consistently good on defence for a while

He hasn't been consistently solid on defense for a while.

He has flashes, but they've been few and far between this season. It's one of the reasons our defense has taken a step back, IMO.
2021 Houston Rockets
PG: Kyrie Irving/Patty Mills/Jalen Brunson
SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan
PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo/Robert Covington
C: Kristaps Porzingis/Bobby Portis/James Wiseman

JB and Smart didn't get the memo about hitting shots

Smart got the memo but crumpled it up and shot it at the wastebasket and missed....

Why it Thomson starting over Rob Williams again? Our best group is with Rob at the 5. Thompson's hook shot is such an automatic line drive brick.

I’d keep feeding Tatum. He is in such a groove.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Another failed 2:1 comes back to haunt us. Our end of quarters have been bad tonight. I’m a huge Jaylen fan but man his FG and shot selection have been bad so far.

Probably because Nurkic is a load.

Fournier hasn't missed. Fournier 4-4, Smart 0-4...

Jaylen is 4/14 and 1/6 on threes. He should move the ball too, specially now that his teammates are hitting shots.

You give Pritchard or Nesmith an open look in one of those corners ? Forget about it. It’s going down.

Love to see them this comfortable behind the arc already in their careers. Pretty darn impressive. Both have big time potential.

I recommend having a look at where our threes are coming from on the shot chart, and comparing that to the Blazer's shots :]

Celtics FG 52.1% 3PT 12 for 20
Blazers FG 53.2% 10 for 17

Benches
Celtics 37 minutes 23 points
Blazers 31 minutes 8 points

Nesmith 10 minute 3/3 from three 9 points 3 fouls
Pritchard 9 minutes 3/3 from the field 10 points
Robert + Romeo 2/2 thus, the bench? 100% FG%

Fournier 17 minutes 4/4 10 points
Tatum has 24 points...yawn...what else is new?
A lot of sharp shooting high percentage glory and we are tied.
