Effort picked up in the last few minutes, but it's so hard to put a team back in the box after you let them out.

Still, we're within reach.  Mostly thanks to Tatum.

well, only down by 9 after a craptastic first half? i guess it could be lot worse.

better defense towards the end. but they still need to make their shots. after tatum they dont have anyone. fournier is still rusty. jabari doesnt have it so far, hopefully that changes.

ha! with any other team i would agree. but the celtics need to trade mark "roaring combacks" this season.  ;D

lots of time left. but they need better defense, STOP TURN OVERS, and get someone besides tatum who can score.  tall orders, but they can do it.

Tatum making some tough shots but all of his shots are tough.  Settling a bit too much for stepback 3's.  Attack the rim
That's concern number 1000 right now.

Is it?  All of our starters combined have 1 assist total and we're shooting 36.8%.  We're not generating any easy looks.  Combine that with 9 turnovers.
Yes, Tatum isn't even close to the reason we're losing right now.

Never said it was.
Yet you dispute my first point, where I said Tatum's play is far from our first concern. The point being Tatum is the only reason we aren't getting blown out.

Yeah it wasn't clear.  The onus is on the team to attack and move the ball.  Seeing as how Tatum is our best player and has the ball the most it's incumbent on him to generate good looks for himself and others.  I'm sure there would be a lot of griping if Tatum was struggling like he has been in the past two games.  I am not blaming him for our struggles so far.  We're just not playing well.

Welp, that was terrible to watch, but we're only down 9, so it's not too late to turn it around.

we stunk that half - particularly the second quarter.  Tatum needs to get some help  out there -- he can't carry us by himself

Anyone can see that Kornet is way better on the floor than Grant but we probably won't even see him in the second half.

It's more of a pick your poison - I'd honestly rather play Grant. We traded Theis for no reason - he is a million times better than either player.

Payton 2 for 2 from 3 and Marcus 0 for 5.  Payton needs more minutes and the go sign to shoot.

Evan looks real rusty. We need the bench to step it up in order to have a chance in the 2nd half.
