I didn't even notice Tacko.

As some of you know, I'm a relatively noobie to basketball so I'm more than prepared to be shot down in flames over this but Tacko never ever convinces me. I love the guy but I never get the feeling he's up to the grade.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And with that, I realise my noobie mistake haha! Bol Bol isn't Tacko, it's Nesmith. I googled Bol Bol and google told me it was Fall. No wonder I didn't see him playing. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Substitute Tacko for Aaron in the above and you've got my opinion on Nesmith too. That said, Nesmith is a kid so it's probably a little hard of a judgement.

I have to say I have been a big Romeo detractor to date. I have to eat a little crow as I think his defensive effort was very good and he's not afraid to take the shot when there. I have been hard on him but he has earned my appreciation over the last couple games.

Glade to hear Romeo played well again .  He plays like he belongs on the court .  Few mistakes and confident in what he is doing.

I believe he is going to be an important asset before it’s all said and done.

TP for ur humility! Blogosphere needs more of that...

And Im a Romeo believer...when he starts to or gets a chance to put some offense together, hes gonna be valuable.

Kid is cocky in a good way. Never hangs his head and just keeps playing hard. Good quailties.

For as little as he's played, he seems to know what he's doing. The feel for defense and taking charges looks veteran to me.  He's also active on boards and creates new possessions and doesn't seem out of control aggressive like Nesmith.  And he's been more of a contributor than a cost on offense -- which will undoubtedly get better over time.   More Romeo.

watched the game on tape delay.  today's hot takes:
- absolutely infuriating first half where the C's just insisted on bricking away from 3.  needed to find some kind of offense other than a 3 to stay in the game.  if they had, they would have had the lead at halftime
- second half was much better and that fourth quarter had to have been their best closing quarter this year.  this is the team I hoped to see this year.  they fought on D and for rebounds and drove for baskets as well as much better passing.
- no complaints on anyone this second half.  everyone that hit the court produced.

great game to watch.

side note: did anyone see the post game and hear Perk give that huge snort trying to clear his nose?  yeesh

I'm not comparing the two in any way but he has that thing were comes on the floor and just thinks he's the best like Reggie Lewis used to do when he only played garbage minutes. Reggie used to come in and get up a quick 8 shots up in the last couple minutes of a blow out and miss like 7 of them but he had all the confidence in the world. Romeo keeps his head up and has all the confidence in the world. That's a good sign.
