Why can’t we get to the line?

@gouki88 mentioned this at the end of the game thread but in the past 3 games JT has taken 34 FTAs and hit 31 of them. He's made a much more concerted effort to attack the basket. Adds to the risk of injury of course but he's getting to the line a lot more.

I’ve been thoroughly impressed with Attack Tatum. He has the ability to get anywhere on the floor so it’s nice to see him getting some trips to the line and relying less on tough shots.

I wonder if it’s because he’s feeling better.  He said he was struggling with fatigue since returning from COVID.  That could have effected his willingness to drive to the rim and take contact.

Well here are his monthly splits, he averaged 5.9 FTA in Feb, dropped to 3.1 FTA in March and in April it's up to 6.6. In fact the last 3 games he's averaged 9 FTA.
