Grande is a breath of fresh air. He also manages to keep Scal grounded.

Can he do color?  What if we left Scal grounded on the tarmac and just flew him and Gorman to games from now on

I liked Grande tonight.  When Mike Gorman hangs it up, I wouldn't mind seeing him take over the play-by-play role.
I didn't think Mannix was too bad but Grande was better.  hope Mike is around for years to come but Grande is looking like a solid heir to the throne

I know part of it is managing his hip and reducing risk for injury. But man when Timelord gets minutes, he PRODUCES. Excited to see him as he develops and improves for years to come!  ;D

His story about mentioning in front of Tommy that KG, in some vague way, was Russell-esque was pretty funny.

Fournier was tied with Kemba for a team high 6ast. He’s been looking really good these last few games.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

So far he looks like a much better distributor and defender than some people thought he'd be. He's a really nice Gordon replacement imo, something the team really missed.

More Luke and less Grant.

This is what makes the Luke Kornet signing so underrated. Less minutes for G Will and Semi is a very good thing for this team.

Early in the 4th we had Pritchard, Fournier, Nesmith, Romeo, and Time Lord against the Hornets starters and it was a pretty even matchup.

Pritchard and Fournier are great bench pieces. When we have TT back and have a C rotation of TimeLord / TT / Kornet we’ll have a pretty solid bench I feel.
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)

The Sports Hub might have something to say about it

I definitely thought it was a good story -- self deprecation is something a decent announcer should have as a personal trait.

I really don't want to see anymore of Kornet once TT returns. Also, I thought the whole point of trading Theis was to be able to sign a buy-out by waiving one of Kornet/Wagner. We cleared enough money off the books to get under the tax by dealing Teague and Green. It's going to be kind of a bummer if the end goal really was to dump the ultimate productive teammate for these two. Instead of Kornet right now, we could be watching Theis.

Really glad they were able to blow the Hornets out. Hornets were missing 3 key rotation players so Cs did what they had to do. Good win.

I don’t really see the pre or post game stuff so I don’t share the hatred for Scal but during the game, I think Scal does a decent job. Grande is also good and I see the potential but I think he and Scal need some more games to develop chemistry.

Thoughts on the game though:
The hornets looked a step slow (5 games, 6 nights will do that to you I guess) but at this point, the C’s need as much time to gel as they can. I’m glad we put them away after 3 quarters. I think we’re the better team on paper and even in normal circumstances, we should beat a healthy hornets squad (maybe not blow them out like we did). Nice to see the team take care of business

Sixer game tomorrow night will be a good test on our resolve to play together.
