If Fournier is out for 10 plus days. Trade could end up a disaster

Give up picks for a potential super short service rental
“Give up picks”, seriously? Two 2nd round picks?

In 2025 and 2027 no less, so the anger can persist for half a decade.

Calm down everyone, you all make it sound like he's out for the season. Let's just hope it's exposure and not the fact that he actually has COVID.

From what I see, the problem is not that he might be out the rest of the season—though with this team, that wouldn't surprise me one bit—but that we immediately lose the guy we just got, before he plays even one game, and he legitimately could miss several games, and "lack of playing together" is already one of the big reasons/excuses for this team's struggles this season. I can already picture the Cs getting bounced in the first round and the main excuse being "Well we didn't really have time to fully integrate Fournier." ::)

Plus, with Theis gone, Thompson still out, and Kemba still sitting out second halves of back-to-backs ... seems unlikely that the team can keep the momentum from its big win last night.

Seriously, this team just can't catch a break. There are always two or three major things amiss—injuries, health and safety protocols, guys working back from injury, guys not getting enough on-court time together, etc. Unbelievable.
There are two kinds of people: those who say to God, 'Thy will be done,' and those to whom God says, 'All right, then, have it your way.'

You don't have a soul. You are a Soul. You have a body.

Did Romeo pick him up at the airport ?
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

What exactly are the Health and safety protocols? Is it that you test positive for Covid or is it suspected of having covid by exposure? Does it mean a month like it is for Romeo, who I'm starting to doubt even exists?

You are correct.  Romeo is a mythical figure.
He might have played 20minutes in 3 seasons and showed next to nothing to be excited about his possible return.

As far as I am concerned, Romeo is G-League talent until proven -without a doubt - otherwise.

I need 80 healthy uninterrupted games from Romeo before considering him a player....otherwise he is just dead weight.

....and yes.  It sounds like COVID Protocol on Fornier(sp).

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.
