Honestly, it's Time for Danny Ainge to go. He needs to be replaced. How far this team had fallen is embarrassing. To think of all of the deals that went down yesterday, and the little that we got out of it, is a smack in the face to the legacy of this organization. [dang] it take a chance and swing the [dang] bat!  We need a change at the top and it starts with Ainge. The issue is ownership is so committed to him that they go with everything he says. Brad Stevens may even be the problem. Hell, at this point I'd be willing to take a flyer on Sam Cassell coaching. This team needs to be shaken up because at the rate we are going we are not even going to make the playoffs! We have talent, but our bench needs to be upgraded and our focus needs to be readjusted. After all the build up over what we could do at the deadline, all we end up with is EF and two tall end of bench guys? The KNICKS are playing better ball than us! Danny has taken advantage of the nets, or should I say a desperate nets team and made a few other decent moves and was hailed the greatest GM ever. We've made it to the ECF a few recent years in a row and have gone downhill since. Danny is asleep at the wheel and we are crashing because of it.

What moves, specifically, would you have liked to see the Celtics make yesterday?

Personally I think the TPE plus Teague should've netted us Brogdon and a 1st.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Alright, guys.  Enough Tac(k)o talk.

I am genuinely interested in hearing the OP’s opinion. What moves could Danny have made that would satisfy him?

There’s no way to know what was realistic. Collins would have been a great get. Now we don’t have the TPE either, and I’m not sure how much Fournier moves the needle. If we get Drummond (doubtful), then I like where we are at a whole lot better. Theis was an effective player.

  • What a Pub Should Be
I prefer to see what this team does over the next 3-4 months first before we star calling for the public hangings.

I find the calls for Danny to be fired or to retire pretty laughable myself.
