Danny was a serviceable big who adjusted well to the NBA and had cool tats.  He will be remembered.

Good riddance let the TL era begin

Stop. Theis was a good soldier while he was here. He did everything that was asked of him and exceeded all expectations throughout. Let's not be brats. We're a better fanbase than that... Or we should be.

Chill Superfan Steve. I don’t have anything against him personally. But he was the weakness of this team for several years.

The vitriol would be interesting if you actually DID have something against him...

I’m looking forward to TL playing more. He’s obviously better. But I save the good riddance for players who loaf or don’t play hard. Theis made the most of his ability and he competed, consistently. Bodied and fought for rebounds against much bigger players, was crafty with those screens that made Tatum look good on drives, maximized his switch value.  Hit his midrange shots and converted at the rim - a pro. Could he be overmatched by a Bam or an Embiid? Absolutely.  So can a lot of centers. For a guy out of nowhere - undrafted - paid a few million a year? He was a legit NBA center and that was a lot more than I was expecting when DA got him. I appreciated watching him and I wish him well - any night he isn’t playing Boston.

Getting a good laugh at Theis being the lone weakness in our otherwise perfect team. Definitely wasn't a lack of perimeter shooting, injuries, a weak bench or strange offensive philosophies - it was all Theis!

since the C's like to put together highlight video tributes for former C's players upon their return to the Garden, anyone taking bets on how many of those highlights are Theis getting whistled for a foul?  ;)

I think half of it will be Theis getting whacked in the face with either a no call or a foul on Theis.
