Whatever record Phoenix finishes the season with. I’d prefer Lowry at this point. Kemba is just too inconsistent.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I went with 42 and 42, just because I’m curious how the Celts got to play an extra two games, haha.

But seriously, if we had a full 82 game season and a regular period of rest, training camp, etc. I think that we would look better

I’m not so sure about this. Kemba, Smart, Brown, Tatum, and  Theis have been playing on the same team for several years now. Sure, there are some new guys, but the main pieces are the same and they are not playing well as a unit.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
We were 48-24 last season with Kemba. That's essentially the equivalent of your 55-27 option above. Not really fair to use this season, as Kemba was out the first portion and took another 10 games to get into shape. Not going to blame him for this team's current struggles, but sure, we would probably have a couple more wins this season if both players were completely healthy - not enough to make a difference.

Those guys have started what, a total of five games together?

And, the new pieces have not played well, I think in part due to limited practice time.

My point is that Chris Paul.is one of the greatest PG of all time.  Kemba is a five foot ten shooting guard.  Give the ball to CP3 like the Suns have..and watch this same team win 55 games.

That's the only thing that can save this ream. A world class playmaker.

I think the C’s  would be significantly better with Lowry, over Kemba. He’s won a championship, is a pass first PG, better shooter and defender. Might not be as good as CP3, but he’s close enough.
