I would love to know the origins of the Roy/KOC feud.
No specific reason. It’s the same issue I had with Celtic Thug. They spelt ideas that range from educated guesses to outright nonsense, and people laugh it up. I think that some of these sports rumors that you used to see in newspaper columns were some of the original “fake news”, and now Twitter gives them a huge platform.
It’s the same with Keith Smith. He seems like a good guy, but he reports things as fact that are complete nonsense. Anybody remember that we were supposed to get a Utah first rounder in the Kanter / Bane trade? Or when he totally got the Hayward opt-out date wrong?
I get it. The athletic, the ringer, etc. want to sell subscriptions, and nobody is going to tune if they aren’t selling access. But literally, the only two National guys that are remotely reliable are Shams and Woj. Sometimes local sports writers well here’s some thing, although it is usually immediately before news breaks.
Edit: I’ll add Marc Spears. He seemed to be legitimately in the know.
