That's not what KOC said. On the Mismatch podcast, he said Tristan isn't well liked in the locker room. Team brought him in to be a leader but he won't stop going out which puts him in health & safety protocols.

Perhaps we should double check sources before rushing to start a thread.

This is the first I have heard about him not being liked by the locker room.  Tristan certainly hasn't been a difference maker so far (aside from a few good games).  Could it be that the players see the same things as we do in that Timelord needs more minutes and has a bigger impact on the game?  Maybe Pho is going to be correct and the only trade that will happen is DA sending out Tristan?

I would love to know the origins of the Roy/KOC feud.

No specific reason. It’s the same issue I had with Celtic Thug.  They spelt ideas that range from educated guesses to outright nonsense, and people laugh it up. I think that some of these sports rumors that you used to see in newspaper columns were some of the original “fake news”, and now Twitter gives them a huge platform.

It’s the same with Keith Smith. He seems like a good guy, but he reports things as fact that are complete nonsense. Anybody remember that we were supposed to get a Utah first rounder in the Kanter / Bane trade?  Or when he totally got the Hayward opt-out date wrong?

I get it. The athletic, the ringer, etc. want to sell subscriptions, and nobody is going to tune if they aren’t selling access.  But literally, the only two National guys that are remotely reliable are Shams and Woj.  Sometimes local sports writers well here’s some thing, although it is usually immediately before news breaks.

Edit:  I’ll add Marc Spears.  He seemed to be legitimately in the know.

Read this rumor on Twitter, getting a lot of buzz.  someone post link.
If this is true, I would assume that the obvious trade partner is the Raps(?). They lost Ibaka and Gasol during the offseason. Boucher is having a terrific season, but they need a Gasol replacement.

Fwiw, Thompson is a Toronto native.

Podcast with Toronto dude who said TT isn't really beloved by Toronto fans, apparently some bad history from his Cav days.

Oh, that’s the consensus. Fans like this stuff, and I suspect they would still like it if they knew it was 100% fake. Kind of like professional wrestling I guess, although that at least takes tremendous talent.

No idea if this true, but wouldn't surprise me at all.  In fact that would remain in character for his propensity to party while in Cleveland.  Probably not as big a deal ina normal year but with the protocols you can't do the same thing
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Everyone still refuses to say they had problems with anyone in ‘19 so this hardly disproves the rumor.

But the rumor is so flimsy idk if it needs disproving

I’m sorry, did you miss Terry Rozier’s ESPN appearance?

That’s true. Rozier was the only guy to have problems with anyone apparently

I think this could be Marcus.  He mentioned about someone doing stuff outside the game.   Then we hear Thompson is not following Covid Protocols coincidence?

It sounds overblown, that being said, I would ship TT in a heartbeat for Norman Powell.
