What do we need to do to make Joe Ingles a Celtic? I love that dude’s game. He also kills the Cs.

If you can’t fire them don’t hire them.

Danny can fix this.

Tell Stevens to take the IU job. Hire pro coach.

Then, pull his head out of his ass and trade Walker, put in a playmaking PG, get a center and some spot shooters who play within the team's offense.

Who's the coach you'd hire? The fire Stevens Brigade love to call for his firing but rarely name who they think should take over. I'm really curious has to who's out there that can come in and magically transform this team.

Good thing Nesmith and Pritchard got no shots this game. We might've lost....

Brad never learns.  Just leaves Smart out there to hero chuck bricks

AWFUL lineup to start the 4th...Jazz go on a 10-2 run and basically steal the game....what the heck with these Refs...?
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

What I don't get is PP gets stuck on the bench the whole game, then when it's crunch time he's thrown in there, as if Brad knows, on some level, that he is indeed much, much better than Teague and Williams, but it isn't until he's faced with the prospect of losing that he grudgingly puts him in to try and save the day. Like, what?

Ingles plays his best against the Celtics.

He's shooting 46% from three this year. Meaning he's consistent no matter the team. Consistent role players make a huge difference.

Utah showing why they're such a good team.  Good ball movement, good scoring balance, well-coached.

Tatum and Brown did their part.  Not enough from the supporting cast including Kemba.
See, this is why this team lost. Everyone on the bench but Timelord was hot garbage offensively. And Walker wasn't bad, but he needs to be very, very good Kemba when the Jays are great against the best teams. Or if he is going to be this Kemba against the best teams, the Celtics need more than one guy being positive offensively off the bench.

This loss wasn't a coaching loss. The guys in the game not named Theis, Brown, Tatum, Kemba and Timelord were awful on offense. A massive net negative offensively for the game. And the team defense as a whole can't decide to fall apart for long periods in the 4th quarter.

Just gotta play better.

But he never got one shot. NOT ONE!!!!

Sucks to lose, but they were in the game the whole time against the best team in the West.

They played bad basketball.

Celts have enough talent to play the top teams tough, to win their share of games and make some noise in the playoffs.
But it is a bunch of disparate parts who don't play together. They will never win a title with Tatum and Brown playing like this.
This season has convinced me that Stevens is not the guy to win titles with. He is a runner-up coach, doing more with less and he is nice.
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce
