I'm not worried about this game and think the C's will win it. It's just frustrating that they never seem to play a full 48 minutes. Especially on the defensive end it's almost like they just pick and choose when to show up. Not a good championship mentality.

I mean a slow start is one thing. Houston has 30 points with 4 minutes to go in the 1st....

This team's disconnect all year has been the defense.

We've seen Brad try all sorts of different combos and rotations and nothing is working. Is it the lack of practice? The condensed schedule? Lack of leadership on the floor? Lack of cohesion due to injuries? Or just effort?

Stevens is known for defensive squads. Not sure I have ever seen one of his teams just not give it everything on that side of the ball for as long as this team has, but that's what is happening right now.

Not really cohesive on offense either.

Porter Jr is really talented.  :-\

and he was acquired for nothing.

I know the C’s avoid guys with character issues, but man..He’s super young, give him a shot and see if he learned from his mistake. If not, cut him.

Oh no no no! Didn't you hear? We have Javonte Green, Carsen Edwards and others on the team already. No space for Porter on this team  ::)

TP!

Don’t get me going on that...I started a thread on the wasted roster spots. It’s infuriating.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Soon we can add giving up 40 first quarter points to the worst team in the league to this team’s accomplishments this year

Agreed you can't afford to have multiple players who are unplayable on your roster. I've been saying that since last summer against the Heat when we didn't have enough players to make it to the finals.

Semi didn't look like he touched Dipo on that call

This years squad is sending quite a few records.

This was actually true last season too. Apparently they didn't try hard on buyout guys in-season before the trade deadline because they didn't have roster spots and couldn't guarantee them minutes on the team. Meanwhile, they dumped Poirier for the same reason this past offseason, and traded away a pick that Memphis used to pick Desmond Bane...

See this is my biggest problem with DA right now... we need quality depth, and it cost us a trip to the finals. If he doesn’t make a trade or doesn’t add from the buyout heap I’ll be speechless.

We’re lucky their free throw shooting sucks or they’d be close

Bad challenge by Brad.  But I guess it kinda worked out since Oladipo missed the free throws.
