If KD is healthy, is there any way that this team doesn't win a ring? Even if AD is back with the Lakers, i just don't see anyone stopping three unstoppable players.

Celts can have Langford and Nesmith both score 10 each

but still Celts can't close with the starting lineup they have.   The only guy able to score at will is Tatum

Can't beat/close it out with players that are unable to raise it to another level with less than 5-7 mins left in the game

Lebron and Davis are better than those three.  The Lakers are still better.

I think the problem is that Tatum, Kemba, and Brown try to close it out individually rather than playing team ball.

LeBron and Davis would have trouble getting past Kawhi/George though

I disagree.  Brown and Walker had plenty of chances/open looks

5 to 7 min left in the game,  the stars have to shine

Tatum got the ball and Nets did a quick double team

Walker got the pass.  Brick

Tatum swings the ball around to Brown.  He decides to drive against 3 guys waiting for him

Brown needs to learn some "crafty" ways to finish around the rim, instead of trying to bulldoze.    Its blind fearlessness

Tatum should not drive against 3 guys and Brown should not try to bulldoze.  That’s what they keep doing at the end of games. They should use their teammates.

Too much agony here. Brown had a brutal game, Kemba a below-average one and the other three starters played well. The Nets have no one who can cover Tatum, and they have a hole at center. Let's hope Drummond doesn't fill it. Kyrie had an elite game. However, our bench lost by 10. Our starters lost by 2 and could have played better.

We need a bench player who can get 10 ppg every night and play decently on defense. Those guys exist without spending $15+ million.

Agreed.

That's the issue right. We have three iso players, but our iso players are not as good as their iso players. It's great to have Smart back and he will definitely help, but it would be great to have a playmaking guard. They could make the game a lot easier for the J's. This team just doesn't mesh.

We definitely need another player.  I really hope they use the TPE this season.

The Celtics have allowed 18+ threes in 3 straight games, tying an NBA record that has happened 7 times per @Stathead. It’s a new phenomenon as all 7 instances have happened in the past 2 seasons, but it’s still concerning.
