What would have been if that line up of Irving/Brown/Hayward/Tatum/Horford were all 100% healthy with no preexisting injuries...

You are never going to win anything if Kyrie is your best player.

He was the best player tonight.

And they won.

A regular season game...

Celtics players sure love Kyrie...too bad Ainge didn’t just hand him the team. Big mistake.
They literally gave him the keys to city hall and he quit on them lol

No they didn’t.

You can keep saying that but it doesn't make it true.

Yeah, the Celtics were all in on Kyrie.  Even Wyc said it recently.  They just didn’t realize that he’s insane.

If Jaylen is gonna force up shots (3-12 from deep) I’d much prefer he force his way to the paint.

Certain all stars are more equal than others.

I’m not a Kyrie fan by any means, but the guy is a superstar..
He shows up for big games. Wish I could say the same for Kemba.
What big games has Kyrie shown up for recently? His last playoff performance was genuinely terrible. Like, Russell Westbrook tier of playoff choke

This season Kyrie has played well against the better teams in the league and he absolutely torched the Celtics both games. Boston had Smart for both games and he still put up 37 and 40 Pts.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

If they were then they would have traded all the youth for vets..they were not ready to do that.

Bingo!

He wanted to go and be a third banana and not have the pressure. He forced his way out of Cleveland for his own team and then left and formed a super team were he was the third best player.

These players play like they’re trying to figure out the game on the fly.  It’s sad to watch

Not true... he wanted a commitment away from the youth..he said as much. You may not agree with him, but that was one of the problems.

For what, a rack of basketballs? You think other teams are going to want him.

The team was better without Kyrie and made it further in the playoffs without him. He quit like a little baby! I saw him just quit on the team against the Bucks. He was packing his bags during that series and just phoned it in. He was more in the way in those games than anything after telling everyone to just wait for the playoffs.
