Is that for real? That’s nuts if it is!
It’s funny they guaranteed him this current year after his hot start last year and then he started being bad on defense and slow.

He’s being bought out? Definitely, he’s way past his prime but he’d be great in spot minutes on this team.

He's 35 and has fallen off a cliff this year. Hoping for better options.

I dont think you could hope for a better buyout candidate. He would be great even at his age. He's certainly a better pickup than Blake Griffin.

Per Shams. But Woj claims they are trying to work out trade.

You definitely pursue this if you're Ainge. He's still way better than Blake Griffin. He'd be a great offensive piece off the bench with his shooting, passing, and post offence.
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

Part of the Celtics TPE? It would ensure we get him instead of LA or Phili or the Bucks.

Is he ready to be a 10-15 minutes off the bench stretch 5? Seems like he still has some skill, but his advanced numbers are pretty awful, too.

I changed headline. Sounds like Spurs agreed to accommodate him on a trade, could lead to buy out. Sham tweet was unclear. Woj made it sound more like a trade.

I'd be happy with a 24/24 split between Timelord and LMA.

Problem is we have two other solid big men in Theis and Thompson...

Couldn’t hurt..unless we get something better like Drummond, Barnes or Cousins
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

If Danny trades for him it will be for Tristan straight up. Nothing else makes any sense

Boogie has been available for over two weeks. If Ainge wanted to bring him in, he probably would already be on the team.

Ainge, for the most part, shown little interest in Cousins and not brought him in during the many times he has become available over the last several years.

I don't think Cousins will be a Celtic...ever.
