He was banned from the NBA two years ago and is eligible to be reinstated this May. He’s still only 31.

Should the Celtics give him a shot?

Memphis Tyreke would be an elite addition to our bench. Not sure if we'd get that though, he's probably very rusty.
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

Indiana didn’t even get Memphis Tyreke, and they had him the next season.

What was he suspended for? I am sure Danny & company would love to bring in a potentially bad influence.

It was never officially stated, but a “drug of abuse” that isn’t pot.

He will probably sign with the Nets like everyone else.

I didn't even know this guy was still in the league.

But makes sense if he's been suspended from the NBA and haven't been mentioned for a long time.

I'd rather just sign Garnett... play him like 15 mins a game at center to just scare guys / talk smack.

He's only 31... or he's already 31, and most likely had his best season as a rookie.

I quite liked Tyreke Evans, so I'm not opposed to the idea, but I think expecting him to look like the same player he has been over his career might be more of a gamble than you might suspect.

I just think a guy who can defend for positions and can handle the rock should be considered. Even if he’s Tyrone Biggums

haha, I've been fantasizing about this for like a month.  Not because I think he can still play.  I think the team really needs his personality.

What about Larry Sanders? Does Ainge have his cell phone number? He'd be a great addition. He's only 32.
