Let me first say, I would like Hayward to be the Cs starting SF/PF, I fully understand why he isn't. If he had stayed with the Cs as maybe the 3rd or 4th option his stats would not look like they are in Charlotte as the primary option. I just found his current stats with Charlotte compared favorably with his all star year in Utah the year before he signed with the Cs. I guess he has proven what he can do when he is the number one guy. I understand that I am comparing a full year at Utah with half a year in Charlotte.

The Celtics thought he was worth roughly $31M/Y for four years and his play in Charlotte appears to confirm he may still be worth roughly $30M/Y. Also, I am surprised how well Charlotte is playing. May have something to do with his style of play.
