Won’t happen but what if both Ainge & Stevens was let go after the season, who would you like to see take over the GM and head coach job??
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

Juwan Howard at Michigan has a very successful future as an NBA head coach coming up.  It probably won’t start for another 2-4 years, but if for some crazy reason we are looking for a coach this year, Howard would be my pick.

Hey if they're letting Ainge and Stevens go it's because they want to appease fans.

So I say, let's hire Paul Pierce as President of Basketball Ops.

Hire Scal as coach.

Perk as assistant coach.

If you can't be good at least be entertaining, right?

In seriousness, if Stevens resigns because it's not worth it to him anymore or something (in which case good for him), top of my list would be Dave Joerger.  I think he did a good job in Memphis and Sacramento and ought to have another shot.

If you want to go "player coach" maybe bring in Sam Cassell or Ime Udoka.

As for GM, I assume that whenever Ainge decides to hang it up, we'll have Austin Ainge running the show.

Steve, the last I checked, was the Asst. GM in Chicago and has been for quite some time. Would love to see him take on a full GM role somewhere in the future. Why not Boston, if Ainge is let go or retires?

Wow I forgot about that.

I'm all for it.

That guy is great.

If Stevens and Ainge are gone, expect two big trade requests soon after and a long rebuild. This is the last thing we should want to happen.

Tommy point for this comment right here.

Organizational stability goes a long way. Show your players that you’re committed to the long term and not the kind of organization that makes knee jerk moves. The only move I want in the coming years is for Ainge to retire and leave the GM keys to Zarren and Lewen and all of them.
