We'll see these over TD Garden before the Celtics do any tanking.

Sure, but you can keep Jayson and Jaylen's minutes down, and play Carsen and Tacko and Javonte much more. Time to inflate these dudes' trade value.

I would seriously consider keeping Smart out as long as possible and then playing him very limited minutes when he's back.

Smart had a very serious calf injury. We know when he plays he plays super hard. They should protect him from himself as much as possible. If Smart comes back too soon and suffers a more serious, longer term injury, the Celts are going to be truly in a terrible spot.

If teams won’t trade with Danny stingy Ainge he may want to tank to get talent.

Yep. Danny has no more cards. Players/agents/GMs are done with his act. It worked for awhile but it’s time to move on and accept it’s a players league, not a league for stubborn GMs w/ zero loyalty.

He won’t be fired though cause money talks. We aren’t winning it all this years. If no moves are made there will be tax and salary savings plus if Tatum doesn’t make all nba then his contract won’t adjust, saving $$ as well. Honestly if Kemba wouldn’t cost a pick to dump, he would be gone to save some cash as well.
do you have a link or information that supports the bolded point? if so, please share it.

if not, then this does not rise above the level of hot-take or simple assertion.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

I'm hopeful Ainge can pull off a series of trades that remind me of the 2014-2015 season, where we got picks and reserves, but those reserves played with an energy that elevated the team despite a technical reduction in talent.  The trades at the time looked like a tank, but that team went on a run to make the playoffs.  I think the intent was to tank, but Brad's coaching and those players' drive carried us further.  Do something similar this year with a core of Tatum and Brown, and the resultant playoff run could be much more successful than the sweep to Cleveland that year.  And if the trades fail, then the tank will happen on its own.

I would sit him jic too. I'd start giving JB and Tatum time too let everyone heal mentally and physically. They seem to need a reset. Even Kemba give him a week off to rehab a little extra.

And a side note why us Smart traveling? When a guy is in recovery leave him home!
