ESPN:

Quote
Brown, the front-runner for the NBA's Most Improved Player Award this season, is averaging career-highs across the board for the Celtics, including points (25.5), assists (3.9) and all three shooting percentage categories: field goal (49.7), 3-point (40.9) and free throw (76.6), helping him earn his first All-Star selection. Tatum, meanwhile, is averaging a career-high 26.4 points per game, and is making his second straight appearance in the league's midseason showcase.

Very happy for the Js and Brown especially.

MIP? Sounds good to me.

Can’t believe Simmons made it. He’s regressed on both ends.
He has been getting a lot of love for his defensive play

Look at the names on the West and compare them to the names on the East and you have your answer

Does this mean our team gets to shoot more free throws now?

At best he’s plateaued - Embiid is their best player and Harris has arguably been as important as Simmons. He didn’t deserve it over Middleton or Bam

Interesting that neither Eastern All-Star starting Guard made it at all from last year's team (Trae and obv Kemba).

I was close on the West - as I had Booker over Paul as the only difference, but was way off on the East. No - Sabonis, Bam, Trae. Yes - Vucevic, Lavine, Simmons.

Booker could still mke it, assuming Davis doesn't go because of his injury. The East is weird, considering Tobias Harris, Bam, Lowry, and Trae Young didn't make it. Can't say I care much though!

Booker has constantly rubbed me the wrong way throughout his career, and I'm still salty about 70, but no doubt dude can definitely score the ball.
And ya he might end up as a AD replacement, but as of right now we're a Damian Lillard injury away from Booker never having been an All-Star.  I like that world.

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class
