I thought fatigue was the issue on Friday night.

I don't know what the heck is the issue this afternoon.

Most of the time I watch these games for entertainment but when I took time to observe the team I noticed that there is a lot of individual play by the stars on the team. There are no dazzling team plays. It is always individual. No inside outside, give and go or working hard to get your team mate an easy shot. It is all ISO ball. Terrible coaching, terrible basketball.
Hayward solved a lot of this.  He would move the ball and he sacrificed - probably too much which is why he's in Charlotte.

Thank God the Wiz are throwing passes to the Celtics. The C's certainly aren't passing it to each other.

And can someone make a free throw. You all stink.

Marcus Smart isn't hurt. He just doesn't want to play with these losers.

Timeout Brad!!!

Why hasn't he called a timeout yet?!?!

Ridiculous. Fire him!

Mods, isn't there a specific prohibition on trolling on this site?

Quote
No “trolling”.  Commenting in a thread or elsewhere on the site in a manner that is likely to provoke an angry response from others is not permitted.   Posters should appreciate that in many instances, commentary that would otherwise be appropriate may not be appropriate in a specific thread (i.e., bringing up rumors of alleged cocaine use by a beloved player in a tribute thread dedicated to the memory of that player, etc.)

It's one thing if these were legitimate arguments he was making or if he made a post or two lamenting the negativity on this site, but this is going overboard and distracting from the rest of the thread.

That wasn't a charge
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Whatever happened to our "famous" ball movement ?
Since the two J's have reached all-star level, we are basically iso, sometimes using a ball screen, with Walker, Brown or Tatum.
I would love to sit down with Stevens and Ainge and find out what the hell goes through their mind when they watch their team play.

The Wizards are playing impressive defense.
Did they save that specifically for us?

The effort level is pathetic.

Might as well throw in the white flag every time they have a matinee game.

I can usually see the bright side of things with this team but lately we are just turning into a serious dumpster fire.

It is getting very difficult to watch this lifeless team. Marcus where are you?

I do think this has a lot to do with it. Beyond all the blameworthy stuff on our part (poor in-game management and coaching, lackluster roster construction, and questionable decision-making, effort, and overall execution by some of the players), I do think the injuries - particularly to Marcus - play a big role in not allowing us to reach consistency and our peak. Our overall intensity and character has been lackluster since he's gone down.
