The mentality of this team is shot.  Players leaving left and right.  No consistency in the lineup.  No leadership.  Time for a clean out
Think this is a touch of irrationality.
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

Not just this game, and of course a long way to go.  But Nesmith over Saddiq Bey isn't looking great at the moment.  Still think Nesmith will get his chance.  But man, Bey looks legit

experts are saying Bey really isnt good since the guy ave a mere 8ppg and just happened to get lucky this night....

Well then NEWSFLASH!!!.... this is something that aint new in the BS era...we always make sure we allow a role player on an opposite team to play like an allstar and this goes back since the KG era. Besides, a mere 8ppg as a rookie is better atleast than our 2 busts 14th pick who cant smell the court...Puting our hopes as well on an injured 2nd yr player in Langford?...yeah right. He aint gonna explode for 30 the way Bey did ever...and im not even joking, Both Nesmith and Langford will NEVER score 30 in their career...they are BUSTS.

Celtics lose or fall behind in a game and all the usual boo birds come out to squawk their usual negative hot takes(and yes, you and all the rest of us know who you are). Celtics win.....crickets. Or massive, passive-aggressive, backhanded compliments.

I don't know. Maybe I just see things differently. If things make me angry or to feel constantly negative, I avoid those things. I don't continue doing them over and over and over, deriving no joy from it and so unendingly complaining about it.

But, to each their own when it comes how to express fanhood of a team. I will simply never understand why you guys keep watching the Celtics, if all it does is make you angry and vocally negative all the time.

One thing I hope we can agree upon. Payton Pritchard is not ready to be an NBA starter. Wright pretty much swallowed him up all game the other night.  His role (both present and probably future) is to be off the bench PG, where he can excel.  The length of Wright really bothered him.

I don't know about this. Payton is 19 games into his rookie year. Deciding he isn't starter material and won't be for his career after just 1 bad start in 19 total games is way too premature for me.

People had Avery Bradley and Terry Rozier as complete busts during their rookie seasons. Both ended up turning into above average starters.

Gotta have some patience with Pritchard....and Nesmith....and Grant....and Romeo....and Timelord. You never know what type of leap forward they can have in their games in the future.

Or, you could trade a bunch of them for better veteran bench help, though I think, long term, it's wiser to see what these guys become during their rookie contract, all four years of it.

True. Premature. I love the kid. Just trying to manage my expectations.
