The worst thing that could possibly happen is the Celtics are a .500 team, miss the playoffs, and get a late lottery pick. If they do I'd prefer Danny trade it for a bunch of second rounders. At least Brad might like their 'character' and 'grit' and play them a little.

Celtics mix is not good ..... team is full of young players but the system needs experienced players. Time to dumb it down for your players Brad. Or get experienced players that can play your complicated system.
. Or how bout a basketball coach and not a chemistry teacher

more like a statistics teacher this team aint got no chemistry.

Watching the Cs this year makes me sad. They are not very good. This is the closest they have been to a rebuilding team in a while. Sad.

Same roster as the one that came within 2 games of the Finals last year.

We should be able to beat the Pistons easily.

People do need to realize that we're stricken with injuries and have been all season. We're missing two starters tonight and two rotation players, albeit one that hasn't played all season long, as well as losing our spot starter tonight in Semi halfway through the game.

It's hard to know much about this team thus far given how many absences and injuries we've had. One thing we do know, though, is that we're not good enough to just out-talent people on a nightly basis, especially when dealing with some injuries.

Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

No Kanter, no Wanamaker, no Kemba, no Smart....
They miss Wanamaker. He competed defensively and could knock down the occasional shot.

Okay, what the heck was Grant doing right there just letting Jackson get the ball when we HAD to have a deflection?

Nothing is gonna come easy this year - always a struggle.

This team is badly constructed and needs a couple of fundamental changes. Not an overhaul - but specific changes in personnel.
Those being center and point guard. What we have is not serving our strengths. Some bench shooting would help as well.
I am still not sold on Stevens being a coach to win a title.
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

Enes Kanter right now 10 points /  6 rebounds in 8 minutes in the first quarter, +15. Why can't we sign players like that?

Piston just beat the Celtics up in this one.

Brad should've rested Brown and Tatum in this one.

Pop would've...

Awful loss. I know they're short handed but they've now lost twice to a 6-19 team. Good one night, lousy the next, record is 1 over .500 which is what happens with .500 teams.

Every bench player on the C’s had a negative +/-.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.
