Smart good defensive spark but not a starter .  We need a scorer at the 2 guard.  I would like to see Oladipo.

Why stop at Oladipo? I'd like to see Jimmy Butler. Or maybe Steph Curry?

There is plenty of offense in the starting lineup.   At most, someone who could stretch the court with outside shooting.

The bench is where an extra offensive punch will help.

If no big trade is available I hope Danny does this:
Timelord for Muscala
Romeo for Fournier.
We might need to add second rounders ....

Adds shooting to our bench and we might be able to sub Kemba in the starting lineup for fournier.

We don't need 5 primarly scorers in a champ team. Smart is especially the guy I want in my team in PO to end the match (starting 5 doesn't matter, but he can start in a champ team also). The problem is Smart must only have the 4th shooting ticket on the 5 and be the 2d/3rd ballhandler to contentrate in his key defensive plays and coming as an Xfactor offensively. Smart must just understand his role and play more with a full roster. From our bench we really lack of regular scorer, gunner or not; bit not a Smart kind of player. His achievment is to get the DPY not the 6thMY

Timelord for Muscala

Seriously? This is not a good plan. At all.

Tatum and Brown are awesome but you may need to go through Brooklyn.  In my opinion to beat them you will more offense.

If muscala does for us what he does for OKC this is going to be amazing for our playoff campaign. There will irrational Celtics fans with broken hearts but they will forget about Timelord once Ainge drafts a similar player lol

I’ll chalk the Muscala idea as a joke, but Smart isn’t even the real problem.

Sorry for the bad joke. However I don’t think that shooting 92% FT and 39.3% 3P on 5.3 attempts for a center is considered a joke by a neutral fan.
You know what a neutral fan would think is a joke - scoring own baskets and passing to opponents under own rim

No one is going to out offensive them.   You have to out defense them enough that you win.   They will not be playing defense.

With Smart it has never been about if he starts or is the 6th man. He is a 30+mpg player who you want on the court in crunch time.

With time I have come to like the idea of Smart as the starting PG, with Brown, Tatum , a big wing (Barnes) and a center (Theis). Then have a scoring PG (PP looks like he could be that guy). With Smart as the starting PG the team because so switchable that teams will really struggle to exploit mismatches come playoff time

Smart is a DPOY candidate. He's a starter. And I think he's the perfect fit in a starting unit with Walker, Brown, and Tatum.
