James Young and Yam aren't really the same type of players.

I too doubt he will play here but it's because he looks like a big $ player over seas. As a second rounder he may decline coming here until the money matches what he can make there.

everyone looks good in highlights. i watched an entire game with him a few months back.

first, he is good at basketball and i would prefer him to teague right now.

next, his "flaws" did not seem fatal, but he was prone in that game to making hasty and bad decisions with passes. he would force a pass and turn it over.

he also can take some ill advised shots. but both of these flaws are fixable under CBS i think. he is still very young and can learn,

what impressed me  the most was his effort on defense, dispite trying too hard for steals, he is a determined and aggressive defender. he was fun to watch.

he is 6'3" and weighs 190, so he needs to build up strength. but again, a fixable problem.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

The defense is the definite highlight of his game. He's a pest on that end of the floor. He's young but his motor is high and his offense is also good. You're right that he needs some coaching.

He begins showing he will prob deserve a place in the roster in 2 years or so. But not more I guess. Again Zizic was showing good abilities during his stash, even Yabusele. He may have the qualities you mentioned, but with his physical and tactical limitations (for now), shooting on NBA range and level questions, the weak level of his team and league, the mental aspects and the NBA.amercian adaptation questions, I guess there is still more probabilty he will never have a significant role in NBA than the opposite. I know it is the mode to trash Teague, but I still prefer him on the team than a good 19 YO potential from an average Israelian league team.

Apparently Yam has asked for arbitration to be released from his team. He's claiming that he shouldn't have to pay a 700k buyout the team claims he owes them.

I wonder if there has been some communication between Yam the the Cs.

There's basically a 0% chance of us signing him this season. We would have to use either a minimum salary or the BAE, but both limit you to one or two year deals. That would mean the rest of the season and next year, but waiting until the summer would allow is to have him for longer.

And if we wanted to bring in another PG (unlikely with Kemba, Smart, and PP in the rotation and Teague and Waters also available), we would probably bring in a vet anyway.
I'm bitter.

Hilarious
