Let's go C's ! Again a hard one with all this injuries (we really can't have all our starters more than one match in a row...). Again an important one, before going to Utah, continuing to purchase the 2de seed and the Bucks and securise our top 4 in the ranking. Tatum-Kemba must shine tonight if we want to exist.

Celts will need another solid bench output

Lets see if Grant and Carsen can keep it going

So good to see Carsen's shot fall in the 1st half v. LAC.... and to see him stroke 3 perfect clutch FTs in the 4th.   Will the yips return?

Game 5 of the 1976 NBA Finals between the Suns and Celtics is considered to be the greatest game ever played.
The Celtics won that game 128-126 in 3 overtimes.

I remember watching that game with my dad - one of the few occasions we spent friendly time together. That game is not on the radar for most of our younger fans, but it is, without a doubt, the greatest ever played. Just the two baskets scored in the last 5 seconds of the 2nd overtime, extremely tough shots by Havlicek and Heard, are qualification enough. Never mind all the other drama and stories that emerged from that game. What better arena for this game and better team to be involved than the old Garden and the Boston Celtics. Reminds me why I love this franchise.
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

Anyone besides me worried about Jaylen’s knee?

Me too.  What's been reported so far ?

Stevens played Brown and Tatum way too many minutes last year, often 40+. Add in the fact that Brown's playing style is intense and high impact. Celts need to keep the big picture in mind - we are still probably a player or two away (and at least one season) from serious title contention. Don't beat up the team in the name of a win here or there to gain maybe a 3d seed in the East.

I've shared my Game 5 1976 experience here in the past so I'll avoid repetition, but it was incredible -- I listened to most of it (the OTs) with my high school buddies in a car.  Great memory.

If brad plans on having Kemba and Edwards guarding Booker, he’s going to go off for 50

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.
