tough loss, but they played hard at the end. i think that come the playoffs the celtics can beat the lakers in a close seven game series.

with smart, pritchard and walker shooting better, they win.

tps for everyone!!!

Great positivity but there’s 0 chance they make the finals and 0 chance they would win more than a game in a series against the lakers

Breaking down that last sequence:
- multiple double teams helped Semi make a stand against AD
- Kemba with a great steal as the shot was going up
- Alex Caruso hustling down the floor stopped the JB layup
- Semi with a great decision to pass it to Kemba
- Kemba drove with Schroeder on his hip and stops on a dime
- Kemba misses the open stop-n-pop
- Theis misses the follow (or was it late?)
- C’s lose by 1

MORAL of the STORY:
Don’t tip in opponents baskets!!!

I'm not mad at that last shot, Kemba in the midrange is usually money. He's built his career off of that.

And yet, the Jays need more help. This team just doesn't have enough talent. Danny needs to figure it out, especially if Smart is lost for a significant time.

Kemba needs to shake this rust off quick.  It’s going on too long.

I’m curious to what the team will look like when he starts playing well.

Semi did a great job tonight on Lebron. Theis was excellent too.

All played well and as a team. Just came up short....

Tough one...

So what is our record this year with Kemba playing?

Entirely blame the GM for this. I'm hoping at some point his two star players don't start to question his ability to assemble a championship team.

I say it again, this is Jaylen and Jayson team.

Get a supporting players built around them.

Kemba does not fit this team. He is a volume shooter  with average accuracy. We need a strong center to complement the 2 Jays.

Trade Kemba for a center please.
Maybe Vucevic could be an option? He stretches the floor and can bang in the post.

Kemba was fckn atrocious...

Trade him as im more confident in Pritchard.

What a useless max player..his idol must be Gordon Hayward.

Aaahhh..i jus hate losing specially to those Fakers...

Brad stevens stupidly wanted to lose this game by playing with his line ups too much.

No one is reliable except for the Js..everyone is crap including our precious 2 lottery picks which are officially Busts.

Thos team is a fifth seed..book it.

Tatum was clutch as hell, and it was wasted because everyone else choked. Brown can't miss 2 late game free throws. He just can't. If we're gonna call him a superstar, we gotta hold him to that standard. It unacceptable.

My biggest takeaway was how our switching is just too out of control. They had us in mismatches waaay too often. Lakers just didn't push hard enough when they had them.

I think a few review of defense needs to happen.

Jaylen and Jayson are super fun young guys to watch develop but there’s something fundamentally wrong with this team and they’re going nowhere

Love the original PP but don’t always like what he says as a commentator. Totally agree with him tonight though. Great game - one point game and got almost nothing out of Walker. No reason to hit the panic button. The tip ins are killer but bet JB is beating himself up about the free throws at the end.
