Well done, lads!On to the next!
A ton of credit has to be given to Brad and the coaching staff for developing players. I doubt Semi would even be in the NBA if he hadn't been drafted by the Celtics. They took a really raw kid who couldn't shoot but had decent lateral quickness and a great attitude and turned him into what looks like a valuable bench piece, a 3 and D wing that may not be elite but definitely looks like he belongs on a contender. Could any other team have developed Tako to where he is now? Javonte? Wanamaker? So much more respect for this tyle of building a team, rather than grabbing ring chasing vets for the minimum or relying on sun and flash to attract players. Fantastic win tonight.
I think Tommy would approve of this team !
Obviously Orlando was terrible and missing 7 players as well but I'm pleased at what I saw tonight, Jaylen again very composed and efficient and lil PP really looks like he belongs. It was good to see the benchwarmers get significant time at the end. I think Nesmith just needs to not try too hard, I think he's really pressing offensively. It's a tough balance between making the most of your minutes and not overdoing it. As for Tacko, his last 2 shots (the 3 they took away and the off the dribble Eurostep to the basket for a dunk) made the whole night for me
