too much partying last night it looks like. Lazy. Sloppy. Careless.  Really disappointing. Detroit is arguably the worst team in the NBA, and they are completely outhustling us tonight on both ends.  Grant and Rose, no one can defend them.

pretty much this.  Marcus came out playing like he was still sulking over losing his whiskey bottle to a karaoke machine

Tatum is massive. It is so strange to me how softly he goes to the basket.

You really think Tatum is massive? He is skinny.

Actually when he was skinny in his rookie season. He was much quicker than he is now

His bulk has helped him rebound better. But has hurt his ability to run around screens and beat his man to the basket

I think he’s only added about ten pounds. He’s still on the skinny side.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism

Yeah, no more of those go-go gadget dunks. He is extremely talented (obviously), but he is soft around the rim.

It’s too easy for them to get to the rim

Yeah, it’s too bad we don’t have an Uber athletic, shot blocker on t he bench. ::)

We do, it's just that he can't guard his own shadow when he's more than six feet from the rim.

I’m not seeing anyone playing better interior defense out there.

There’s some communication issues, a few times the Pistons players have blown past Smart but Tristan has been slow to come help. They need to sort it out as Detroit are feasting on us with layups.

We're gonna win this game.

I think Cs win if they do not have the usual 3rd quarter brain fart.

For them to hve a chance, Cs need to play the Teague with the starters and one big.

Get a stop we’re back in it. But not if we keep letting them take 3s because we’re slow to close out

Tatum has to put in the effort.  Fight through a [dang]ed screen.
