You aren't under the coronavirus protocols until you report.  That doesn't mean you can't be punished for not reporting by the team, but that is a team not league issue.  The protocols are a league thing and you aren't under league control until you actually show up for the season.

You aren't under the coronavirus protocols until you report.  That doesn't mean you can't be punished for not reporting by the team, but that is a team not league issue.  The protocols are a league thing and you aren't under league control until you actually show up for the season.

It just seems like a strange jurisdictional distinction.  League protocols should begin when a player is under contract and the league year has started.
