Edwards really struggles with screens.

Pretty sure Ainge knows they can't contend with this roster as presently constructed. Just decided to give it a go with it and see if anyone would make a leap, waiting to use the TPE only if needed. When you have Carsen Edwards out there that's when you know something's just not right. Having 3 dynamic wings helped disguise our putrid bench last season. Not a thing anymore this time around

Its a pre season game. Missing 3 key players

Chillax man

4 key players, as Romeo is an important rotation piece, too. But, yeah, the hot takes after a rust-filled first few quarters are a bit crazy.
Romeo being an important rotational piece is part of the problem

I don't think these takes are based off tonight's game (or at least I hope). They are based on roster construction, as this is an opinion I already had as soon as Free Agency was over, and I know a lot of people did

If guys like Kemba, Langford and Thompson can't get healthy, we will see more of our 3rd unit.

Romeo has a lot of potential, especially given his defensive strides made later in the season. As a 9th/10th man and 4th guard he's a solid option.

Well he was a lotto pick so that’s not a problem then. That said he proved to be serviceable defensively last year and that alone makes him a good rotation piece.

To be fair, we don't have anything to throw in aside from Tacko and Timelord.

Oh, nice block, Nesmith. The guys in camp were all talking about his athleticism. Didn't think that was one of his main strengths in the draft.
