I agree and this is why...his college stats at Tenn were legit. Grant is not an all defense hit a "couple of shots" NBA guy.

No, the Celtics starters will not give him a lot of shots, but, he averaged 16.3 ppg through the SEC tournament and 4 rounds of the NCAA's (Lost to Edwards and Purdue).

He is an asset on defense. He calls the defense sometimes when Smart isn't on the court  for crying out loud.

My point is if "it is on him" when he is on the court he excels. I say he gets a lot more minutes than anyone expects.

But I actually stand by that. You don't simply lose year after year after year like that.

Brad isn’t getting fired. We are certainly in the mix, but I wouldn’t call us favorites by any means.

The only season I can really say we underperformed is 2018. I DO put blame on Brad for that, as he couldn’t adequately handle Kyrie (and others like Rozier, Morris, etc).

But every other year, they either met or exceeded expectations, especially given the injuries each and every postseason.
