My prediction:

Payton Pritchard and Aaron Nesmith will get significant playing time, and will lead our bench unit in executing our bench offense.

I think the two will play very well together, and by the end of the season we will long stop worrying about our lack of bench scoring.

Pritchard will have a tough time getting minutes ahead of a veteran like Jeff Teague.

Agreed on Nesmith. Boston's wing depth is weak and inexperienced. He should easily be able to get playing time with his shooting chops.

Smart or Teague are out for 2-3 weeks before Kemba comes back and Pritchard gets extended minutes as backup PG and excels in the role to the point where many posters here are clamoring for him to pass Teague on the depth chart before the end of March.

Pritchard and Nesmith turn out to be overwhelmed at the NBA level and don't contribute like the pipe dream of Herro.

Ainge will not only use the TPE he gathered in the Hayward trade...... he'll use it in two separate trades. And he'll do in part to demonstrate the value he received in Hayward's departure above and beyond what he would have gotten from Indiana.

Tristan Thompson supplants Theis as the undisputed starter by a quarter into the season. Thompson will average 38% on 3's at 2 attempts per game.

I don't know if this would be a surprise, but my prediction is that Grant Williams solidifies himself as the starting 4, which will allow Smart to be a full time sixth man.

Grant might still only average like 6 points and 4 rebounds in 24 minutes a game or something.
