Dirt cheap.  I would have signed him and then cut Edwards to sign a wing.

Celts already have Thompson, Theis, Rob Williams, and to a lesser extent Grant Williams in line for minutes at the 5.

Thompson can also play PF, and G. Williams shouldn’t see any center minutes at all.

I think our final roster spot will be given to a wing player. We already filled supplies with shooters and bigs

I don't like playing guys who can't shoot at PF, especially when the 5 is Theis, who can shoot but is super reluctant.

Also, whether it should happen or not, Grant Williams is going to get minutes at the 5.  Happened last year and I'm sure it'll happen some more this year, even if only a few minutes at a time.

Slim pickings at this point.

Korver?  Who else?

I think Ilyasova is my favorite remaining FA for us.

Yeah. Best bet is probably a backup-level wing for depth - unless we get the TPE and something better comes up. May not be the worst. We have some young players who need minutes.

I can't see Brad giving Thompson a single minute at the 4 and he'd be nuts if he did.

I'm a big Ilyasova fan. He would be great here. He's a tough player and a pesky offensive rebounder who can be a threat from outside.

Maybe I'm just pessimistic, but I think Boogie is 100% cooked. He's not just done, he's done-er than done. He was a questionable defender with slow foot speed before suffering multiple injuries, so now I'm skeptical he can even stay on the floor against most teams. Not worth even a flyer IMO. Would have rather gotten practically any other big available, like we ended up doing with Thompson.

Something tells me you aren't the only one that thinks that.

Probably the fact that he couldn't even get 1 year guaranteed
I'm bitter.

Definitely. Grant Williams is a more skilled offensive player than any of the other bigs. There will times when CBS needs that.

TT, Theis and Rob Williams are all pretty limited offensively. CBS will be forced to use Grant Williams at center.

No need to use grant at center.

Theis, thompson and williams can all center. If they cant then danny needs to make a change

Cheick Diallo. I’d trade him out for one of the 8 guys we have under 6’1” in a heartbeat.
