Maybe they'll use him as a trade chip, maybe they'll just keep him because he knows the system? Who knows at this point.

It was his option to do so

If he's happy here, why not be happy too? I think he's fine. He's not perfect but he's good during certain match ups

That’s a relatively positive news. Decent value for the contract he has

I like Kanter...I think he should have played more in the playoffs.  Was he recovering from injury or just Brad's decision not to play him much?  Not the greatest defensive guy but can score and rebound.

I'd rather he had opted out tbh.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
No big deal either way. Kanter seems like a great guy to have around and he's our only bulky center that we can throw at other big Cs around the league.

Not psyched if his salary keeps us from getting under the tax, but that may all be moot with the whole Hayward thing. Of course there is always the possibility of a trade. There are probably a number of TPEs out there from teams who don't have cap space (Portland being one).

Fine by me.

I like Kanter. Worst case he is a trade salary filler.

Same for me. He's easily the best rebounder on the team and can get easy buckets down low. Plus he seems like a great teammate.

I really hope there's a trade lined up.

I want Kanter gone if for no other reason than because it'll force Brad to play Timelord more.

Brad has no problem playing 3 small forwards and two guards.

If Brad played lineups including IT, Bradley & Smart you can bet we’ll see Jaylen Brown at the 5 ;)
