How about “meets Mark Price”? If you’re a certain age you’ll agree that guy was filthy good in his prime.

Mark Price was a great player on a great Cavs team that was killed by Jordan and injuries. Mark Price was one of the best shooting point guards ever. He kept Bird from leading the league in free throw shooting a couple of years as I remember. Seems like he shot in the middle 90s for his career or something like that.

I’m very high on Pritchard but I don’t think he sniffs Mark Price. I hope he does but I think he’ll be a solid role player.

Honestly, stylistically I see a lot of Chris Paul as a scorer.

Interesting.  I see some Irving with all those headfakes, change of pace, finish high off the backboard

Chris Paul likes to dribble stop, dribble stop,  etc.  but usually seems to favor the fadeaway.

There's definitely some similarities there. I think he's more similar in height and quickness to Paul and tends to end up in the same spots on the floor. Guards the ball going to the basket in a similar way. Compare to a younger CP3 here:

I wish we could have seen him play in the summer league.  The more I watch his game highlights and see his superior skills handling the ball I think he may move into the rotation (top 9) at the start of the season.   If he makes 3s like he did in college he will be backing up Kemba.  I really like his style.  Against college kids he looked tough, remains to be seen how he will react to playing against skilled men.  I think he can do it.

Yes, he has two high level skills in ball handling and shooting that I think set him apart from the other smaller points like Anthony, Flynn, Mannion, Winston and Terry. I think Pritchard has the best handle, best shooting and best physicality of that group.

The compliment train doesn't stop for this kid...  Brad also said good things about him a few days ago.

My guess is that he is catching on the details/plays quickly
