Brooklyn -James Harden

Houston- Jarrett Allen, Spencer Dinwiddle, Taurean Prince & Caris LaVert

In my opinion, this be a great deal for Houston..get 4 young starters and maybe more if they trade Westbrook..I just don’t see Harden fitting in with the Nets
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

Actually, the salaries do match up, using current data.

This would be a good get for Houston. Jarrett Allen, Dinwiddie and Levert are excellent young pieces who will flourish in the right system and Prince is a starter quality wing.

I have my doubts about how Harden, KD and Kyrie can mange to work together for the Nets but at least it would be interesting and credit to the Nets for making a bold move and fully buying in instead of trying to mesh what is in essence a whole different team with KD and Kyrie.

with that line up the nets would be winning games with scores of 145 to 135. no defense to speak of it looks like.

Impressive. Didn't think that Brooklyn could find a way get more unstable, but I was wrong.

And this is why Kemba has to be traded for Jrue. We will never have the offense to match up to this but we are very close to having the BEST defense in the league.

Trading a star for four mediocre players really doesn’t get me that excited.

Houston be a very good young team if they trade Westbrook to New York and Harden to Nets

C— Allen
PF- Covington, Portis
SF- Knox, Prince
SG- Barrett, LaVert
PG- Dinwiddle, Ntilikina

Pretty good start for a young coach in Silas
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

Rockets would want Mitchell Robinson too.

LOL it's never a good trade for your team if you're sending on a MVP caliber player for a bunch of ... Stuff.

It would be funny watching the nets fail though

That is a bad trade for Houston and I'm pretty high on guys like Allen and LaVert, but that just isn't enough for a top 5 player in his prime.  Even if Brooklyn threw in a bunch of 1st round picks it isn't good enough.  You need a guy like Simmons coming back for Harden or it isn't worth doing.  And Simmons might very well be available for Harden.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip
