Aaron Nesmith... another WING player??  This team is just all wings.  LOL.

I mean I like his scoring potential but he's another 6'6 small forward.  A bit undersized but he's a shooter.

Does this mean we will be trading Langford or are we just preparing for life without Hayward?  IE Danny is trading him away THIS season?!

Hayward is a goner... dont forget.

I’m quite happy with this pick. He will give us buckets off the bench.

Now try to get a point with 26 and trade Hayward for a big.
Use MLE for a bench vet.

Not too hot on Nesmith, but he's light years ahead of my fears of ending up with Cole Anthony or RJ Hampton.

If his shooting can translate then this pick is a win
I'm probably with you in that I'm lower than most on Nesmith, but the shooting potential he showed, albeit on small sample size, is too tantalizing to pass up.

Who would you have taken? You've been more than happy to plaster this thread with anti-Danny stuff without offering any alternatives

We need a wing shooter off the bench, I’m sick of seeing Semi brick a bunch of open 3’s.

this guy seems to be a great 3 pt shooter. When was the last time we drafted that?

we need backup wings for when Tatum and brown are benched. I like this guy and Romeo out there as the backups. Feels like moving in the right direction

Yeah, especially given Semi can't hit the side of a barn

Nesmith should provide much more space for Kemba, Tatum and Brown to operate.

You called it.  His defense needs a little work. But the tools is there. Best shooter of the draft

I'm not a huge Nesmith fan, limited upside athletically, already 21, not a good passer, not a goo one on one defender.

He's an excellent shooter, but he pretty much has to be a 40 percent shooter in the NBA to be a rotation player.

Yeah, don't exactly see Nesmith becoming a potential core player like Tatum/Brown/Smart.
Not happy with the pick (as a shooter I'd preferred Bane).

Really weird that they settled with 14, while having 2 late first rounders to offer for a small trade up for Vassell/Haliburton/Lewis.
