Not too hot on Nesmith, but he's light years ahead of my fears of ending up with Cole Anthony or RJ Hampton.

If his shooting can translate then this pick is a win

A shooter.  I've talked myself into it.

He's crying -- hopefully for joy
hmm, maybe he knows he's part of the trade to Sac for Halliburton and weeping.  ;)

I'm really surprised Nesmith fell to 14, with how valued shooting is. Not that I'm complaining ;)

Good pick. Nesmith is an instant plug and play shooter.
Still have MLE and what happens with Hayward

I'm not a huge Nesmith fan, limited upside athletically, already 21, not a good passer, not a good one on one defender.
He's an excellent shooter, but he pretty much has to be a 40 percent shooter to be worth it here.

On the other hand the Celtics need shooting, and so at least he will likely get to actually play. You already took a good defender/driver wing last year.

From ESPN.com: Nesmith.
Strengths
- Possesses an impressive physical profile at 6-foot-6, 213 pounds, with a near 7-foot wingspan. Above average athlete whose strength and length give him good upside to grow into on both ends of the floor.
- Arguably the best shooter in the draft. Made more than four 3-pointers per game and converted 50% of his attempts. Can hit jumpers in a variety of ways off movement, screens, pull-ups and difficult spot-ups with a hand in his face. Career 83% free throw shooter.
- Lauded for his work ethic and leadership.

Improvement areas
- Played only 14 games due to a stress fracture in his foot. Team played a weak out-of-conference schedule, limiting NBA scouts' opportunities to evaluate him against quality competition.
- Not a prolific shot-creator. Average ball handler who has plenty of room to improve his passing.
- Has good tools and versatility defensively but didn't always make a major impact. Gets beat off the dribble -- not the rangiest or most agile defender.

Projected role: Versatile, shooting wing

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Now trade up and get Hampton

There is going to be an opportunity for us to draft a solid PG. I like Hampton, Terry, and Anthony. If we don't trade up (and we should if Ainge has a preference), hopefully one of them will still be available.

Like the pick. They needed a shooter.

Aaron Nesmith... another WING player??  This team is just all wings.  LOL.

I mean I like his scoring potential but he's another 6'6 small forward.  A bit undersized but he's a shooter.

Does this mean we will be trading Langford or are we just preparing for life without Hayward?  IE Danny is trading him away THIS season?!

Hate the pick but I suck at evaluating these guys. Hopefully he can figure out the defense and the shot translates!

Can't believe this. Really Vassell, Haliburton, Lewis are the picks before the Celtics get to draft?  >:(
I had a bad feeling about this draft... :'(

It feels like losing out on Herro all over again.  LOL.  For some reason Ainge was unable to move up AT ALL in the draft!
the other teams don't wanna get "fultz'ed"
