So if I had of taken Moses #1 instead of Doc, my starting five would've been

G: Gus Williams (4th round)
G: Manu Ginobili (3rd round)
F: Connie Hawkins (2nd round)
F: Larry Nance (5th round)
C: Moses Malone (#1 pick)

That would've been a good team.

Screw it, I will pick early.

With pick number 131 the Spurs are going to pick a player who is a tremendous athlete
Able to throw down dunks from anywhere and able to catch alley opps tossed at the ceiling
He was an tenacious defender who excelled at chase down and weakside shot blocking

15.5 ppg, 8.5 rpg, 4.5 apg, 1.5 spg, 2bpg

Josh Smith

Love J-Smoove. Didn't exit the NBA gracefully, but he was a legit stud in Atlanta for a while. Could do it all. Not sure where your assist numbers are from - in his best year he averaged 4APG

With the 3rd pick of the 14th round, the Milwaukee Bucks select Brent Barry.

  • 2× NBA champion (2005, 2007)

The advanced stats absolutely love his game. His 2001/02 season ranks in the top 7 among SGs in the draft!

Value Over Replacement Player (career high in a single season)
1. Kobe Byant 8.0
2. Clyde Drexler 7.4
3. Jimmy Butler 6.6 (played at SF that season)
4. Manu Ginobili 6.0
5. Reggie Miller 5.8
5. Brent Barry 5.8

Box Plus/Minus (career high in a single season)
1. Clyde Drexler 8.7
2. Manu Ginobili 8.3
3. Kobe Bryant 7.6
4. Jimmy Butler 7.3 (played at SF that season)
5. Reggie Miller 5.8
6. Paul Pressey 5.7 (played at SF that season)
7. Brent Barry 5.5

Led the league in 2P%, eFG% and Offensive Rating in 2001/02. Shot 42.4% from 3 on 4.8 attempts per game. Great passer at the wing position. Averaged 5.3 assists and 2 t/o per game that season. Led the league in 3P% the previous season with 47.6% on 3.4 attempts per game!

He could shoot, he could pass, he could put the ball on the floor, he could play D, he was super athletic (as evidenced by the gif). All in all, he was the perfect glue guy! No wonder he won 2 championships with the Spurs in the 00s!

Quote from: WOJ
Sources are reporting that the Memphis Grizzlies are listening to offers on Ron Artest, Rod Strickland and perhaps even Phil Smith. Looking for wing shooting.

That’s a great pick. He was sort of ahead of his time in that jack of all trades shooting wing role he played, as so many have tried to follow suit

Prior to the draft, I was considering to draft him somewhere in the 6th-7th round as my starting SG. Didn't do it cause I drafted Middleton in the 5th round, plus I figured he'd still be available in the later rounds. Massively underrated player. Based on the advanced stats, he's a starting-calibre SG.

Obviously, these are just raw numbers. Feel free to take em with a grain of salt. I'm not arguing he's actually a top 7 SG in the draft. He's a great glue guy though, that's for sure!

So I guess its too much to ask for participants to play 2 more rounds for 2 way contract players? lol
