with the loss of Drexler, Spurs need to add some more playmaking.

This pick has the ability to start for me should I chose and allow Mookie to be a change of pace guard off the bench. But I do really love this players fit with McGinnis and Laimbeer.

With the 59th pick, and a little shift of gears, the Spurs choose a pitbull of a point guard
He will bring be toughness, scoring, clutch, defense, passing and very good floor spacing

The PitBull

Kyle Lowry
Ah, heartbreak! Great choice.

Guess I have to figure out who else I want now :'(

Thanks, I really like his fit with how my team is shaping out.
That was my guy at 6(9)....maybe I should have offered 7(2). Oh well.

XD

my guys are dropping like flies now. I seriously considered him last round just given how strong the value was, but needed a guy that could play SG so went with Walker.

I thought these two rounds today would offer some real difference makers for teams. Then things will likely flatten out after that.

Gus Johnson was the #10 pick in 1963. Not eligible.

2nd pick of 2nd round but 10th overall. Only 8 teams.

Somebody will have to pick someone else.

Downside to picking first or last is that you get two picks close together but do not get another one for 20 picks. Hard to plan.

Impossible at this stage of the draft. No idea who will be left 20 picks from now.

When the pick was made and I went to enter it on my board, I checked and didn't have Gus Johnson on my list of eligibles, but I had missed some others, so thought nothing of it.
