Really interested in who GreenFaith will pick - he knocked it out of the park with the Nash selection imo.

the Spurs feel like their arena is getting a little too hot.
The Air Conditioners are broken and there is only one way to cool the building down.

by adding a little ICE.

With the 2(1) pick the Spurs select.

The "Iceman" Chuck Lidell George Gervin!!!!!
Great pick! So Drexler at SF?

either for either position.

But Drexler with his ability to pass and his larger mass will most likely start at SF with George at SG
Sounds potent offensively!

I know who I would pick. I was back and forth between this guy and Gervin

I'd use Gervin at SF and Clyde at SG.  Gervin played SF much of his early career, though obviously the majority of his NBA career he was a SG.  Clyde was pretty much only a SG, though I do think he could have played SF, especially in today's game.  Either way I think they fit well together and Gervin will be the #1 scorer with Clyde doing everything else.  I think he just needs a 6th man on the wing that is a defensive beast to really round out his wing rotation.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Going with a great All-Around Center

Proud to add Marc Gasol's all-around game to Steve Nash.

I assumed he would be available at pick 50.

Very interesting. Many different years to pick from for Marc. Seems like a natural running mate of Nash

I was considering Gasol with my next pick as I believe he would have complimented the Mailman very well, but I was thinking it might be a stretch at my pick.  Never considered someone else taking him before it got to me.

DANG!

Excellent pick, though I had others in front of him. Thought he might last to end of round for me to grab him.

I dont know if I would have went that way. I like Marc alot, dont get me wrong, but I feel with Nash' pick and roll he should have been paired with an athletic bigman. Nash beasted when playing with a big who can jump out the gym and keep up to him. Gasol is a plodder. I think he slows nash down.

That would have been an excellent pairing

There are still an absolute abundance of athletic players to slide alongside Nash on the wing and at the big spots. Gasol's blend of playmaking, defence and shooting is near unique in this draft
