This is the type of game Kemba has waited his entire pro career for - he should be going off for 40 tonite.
I think the guy cares, I don't know. I wonder if we didn't get him just as his tank was running low from too many minutes.

Win or lose tonight, I've seen nothing out of the Celtics to make me think they can come back and win this series. They are not smart or mentally tough enough as a team.

It's frustrating to see our supposed superstar getting outplayed by a rookie and a role player for the second game in a row. This must be how Raptors fans felt when they watched Siakam in the bubble.
Agreed

Also the way this team has been finishing this series, we know how 76ers fans felt the last three years...

If we win, I am running 13.1 miles tomorrow for my run...And it won’t be easy after the 🍷🍷🍷

I'm not even trolling, but could Tacko Fall really do worse than someone like Theis right now? Even if he grabs a few rebounds or makes a few putbacks that's already more contribution  :P

-7 is not that bad at halftime, but the overall impression is that Miami just want it more. Look at Robinson defending Kanter for instance, every C's player should match that desire. And it's not the case right now, sadly.
This controversy with officiating fired up our guys a bit, but can they bring this type of energy to the 2H?.. Kemba is really into it, that's a positive thing to see :)

Someone on Reddit said this:

"Stevens is a floor riser but not a ceiling riser"

Honestly if they lose tonight... I can't really argue with that?
Might be bang on, sadly.

I've been willing to give Hayward an extremely long leash, the misfortune he's suffered in green has been horrendous but looking at it objectively, it's becoming increasingly difficult to not see him as the worst FA acquisition this team had made in some time right now.

I'd agree however I think you'd be hard pressed to find someone who would have done marginally better.

The Bucks fans must feel pretty good right now seeing us get slowly dismantled by the Heat the way their team did.

i just don't wanna go down with 10-40 shooting 3-s all game long.

yes they are collapsing and closing on drives, but we have to find a way to get easier shots.

Miami has been awful but Boston keeps sending them to the line.

It looks like the refs are calling the game in a lopsided manner to me.
Refs call in favor of the aggressive team. We don’t deserve any calls or benefit of the doubt. They are settling for long jumpers and not fighting for loose balls they don’t deserve squat.

We are getting hacked to crap on one end especially Tatum and Kemba and on the other end there are a bunch of little touch fouls including some with no touch.

Heat are a much more cohesive team. Spoelstra deserves credit for this. Riley too. Kudos to the Heat. They are the better team. Really exposing our limitations. Starting with our coach.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
A couple of unfortunate calls (Kemba foul on 3, Kemba foul on Butler review, Tatum no and-1 call on lay-up), but that doesn't excuse the effort. I don't know that we can count on another 2nd half explosion from Tatum, but we are going to need somebody to step up while hoping MIA continues to miss 3s.

It isn't over, but we need to see a different team in this 2nd half.
