If Brad can make Finals - he can stay - if he cant then idk...time to look around - I'd like someone who of the likes of McHale - wish he could even come as an assistant to Brad.. idk

What exactly has McHale done as a coach elsewhere that gives you the impression he'd be better than Brad?

Brad has missed the playoffs once and made the ECF three times as a coach so far, and he's had a TON of roster turnover not to mention a generally extremely young team.

He's far from perfect, as we discuss on this board constantly.  Even so he's done a really good job and I don't think there's any reason at all to think that he's not good enough to be coach this team to a title.

We will see how this series plays out

But White Mamba is a smart dude. Wouldnt be soft

It would be awkward to see how Jackson would react when broadcasting Celts games  ;D

McHale wasn't a bad coach at Houston from memory. Took them on a deep playoff run before being backstabbed by Harden.

We should go for a trio of Brad, McHale and D'Antoni ;D

Id be down for - Antonis offensive brain + Brad's work and McHale's presence alone and his clear mind would be sick :P But yeah McHale can probably help Brad toughen up a bit - bring out a little Pop :P Sigh - we need a Pat Riley figure to work Brad too just like Spo grew :(

I feel like D'Antoni needs a modern day Thibs alongside him (maybe that is Brad after all ;) ) to succeed. Brad is still 10 years younger than most NBA coaches, I have faith in him, but he could be the Mark Jackson / Del Harris of this team. Good coach undoubtedly, but might struggle to put this team over the edge. I'm going to give him another season, one hopefully uninterrupted by an unprecedented global crisis, before writing him off

Ini College his hurdle was the NCAA championship, in NBA his hurdle is the ECF.

Can he break it? Or should we move on?

That pre game speech they showed today was absolutely trash. No wonder this team is always flat to start games and halfs.
