The Heat are going to be tough. Another well coached, tough minded group.

Might just be biased, but Theis gets called for a lot of light contact... nowhere near the level of other NBA players.

True and speaking of Theis..he was tough as nails this series...great play.

If things had played out this way outside the bubble, C’s would have home court for the ECF.

Game 1 on Tuesday.  Good.

C's win!

Wonder when the next series begins

Supposedly Tuesday, which gives us three much needed days of rest!

I hope they put it off, more chance for G to make it back

Been confirmed to be Tuesdday

feel free to dunk on me for being wrong.*

*Bench points were 27-8 tho
what possible purpose does that last point make? what if the bench points were 90-1? it matter not.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

As tough as you can get.
Hats off to Toronto, they went down like champions. This series shouldn't be THAT close, yet they made C's earn every bit of it.
There was a moment in the first half, where it was kind of slipping away, but guys found a way to stay poised and get a major boost in confidence ahead of the conf finals.
I think our next game is scheduled on tuesday, so C's have some time to refresh.
Big, Big W. Congrats everybody! :)

I can't even count the key plays in the last two minutes, GWill's block, Tatum's rebound (Scal was questioning if it was a violation that he crossed the line on a foul shot that didn't hit the rim.), Smart's block, Smart's shot that drew the foul on Lowry, even Kemba's pass to GWill.

Man, that was fun.

It doesn't matter one bit.  Celtics won.  And that D by Williams at the end can't be overstated enough.  Bench guy.

couldn't have asked for a better anniversary gift today -- other than my wife leaving me in peace to watch the game tonight.

I tried that once.

Man, we have a comfortable couch!

Mike
one of the benefits of the covid season - my wife is actually sympathetic to the relatively few games I've been able to see this year so no grief over watching the playoffs this year. :)

And we get THIS GUY back next series

This is huge. Our bench becomes a whole lot deeper just having Smart in it and Hayward playing with them.

Correct me if Im wrong, but is this the first game 7 win of this iteration of Celtics?
I believe so!! Feels good
