That has to be some sort of all time league record For fewest pts in a game after playing 50 minutes

You can't really blame him.  They were guarding him hard.  At least Kemba made the right read

Also made a tough 2 point jump shot near the end of regulation

Stevens fault in keeping Kemba on Van Vleet with Raps constantly switching (onto Kyle)
ill admit I didn’t watch the game so you’re right

They were guarding him tight, but the Cs paid Kemba $140M for a reason. Max guys take and make shots - they are not supposed to take a backseat for the entire game. Kemba was abysmal on offense to start and he avoided taking shots for pretty much the whole game - at least until he had to. We need more from him and he needs to step up. Marcus Smart should not be our best player.

One bad game and let's not forget he was BLATANTLY fouled at the end of regulation. C's should've pulled it out. Plus I still didn't understand why it was a jump ball and not automatically the Celtic's ball after the successful challenge on the foul against Theis. Although it was ruled not a foul thus no free throws it was still out on Toronto. Should've still been Celtics ball. Despite Walker stinking up the joint , there was still moments that should've iced it for the C's. Lowry hitting 3's from like 6 ft behind the 3pt line hurt as well

Yep, the raptors keyed in on and punked kemba walker in this game, kyle lowry absolutely obliterated the poor guy...yet i still expected him to make a game winning play and it just never came

To be fair he WAS fouled in that last drive during regulation. Should've had 2 shots.

Kemba tossing an offensive clunker is the best hope for Game 7. He won't have 2 bad ones in a row.

I dont disagree but based on the flow of the refereeing, that was to be expected...i love kemba as a person and player but he was dominated tonight and his lack or big games in the nba just seemed to play a factor

The fact that Kemba was being knocked around like a pinata all game and never went to the line is crazy. Kemba played 52 minutes and never got to the line. NEVER GOT TO THE LINE!!!

I still don’t get the jump ball in the Theis overturn. Theis has possession and the ball went out on Toronto after the whistle. How is that not our ball with around 2 or so seconds left on the shot clock?

Smart was the steadier and better facilitator tonight by a wide margin.

That may be the next approach.  Facilitate through Smart, and try to get some early and easy buckets for others, get everyone going.

I trusted only Smart and Jaylen with the ball in crunch time and I fear that isn't enough against a more seasoned team in a game 7.

hard to score when you get no foul calls at all

After an excellent start, Brown was pretty brutal offensively. Even though Tatum was pretty blah, I still trusted him more down the stretch. The TOs by him and Brown were the nails in the coffin...along with, of course, TOR draining all of their shots down the stretch.

Anyway, since this is about Kemba, hopefully he can come out and prove all his doubters wrong. He literally just said on Saturday that he can't be so passive...well, here we go again.

And you're the littlest guy on the court getting knocked around for 53 minutes and you're an All-Star.

Jaylen struggled at times, but he made some big plays - got to the basket when we went  cold, hit some big 3s late, and played solid defense.  Tatum had moments, but 1 or 2 TOs that surprised me.

I think Kemba's a tough dude and fantastic teammate, so hopefully he shows up Fri.  I'm really worried though - I felt we had to close out tonight, since TOR is so much more experienced, and Lowry and Van Vleet seem to never miss awful shots.

Probably the most rigged Celtics game I have ever watched. Don't care to watch game 7 anymore, even if my gut feeling says we're winning it

It's amazing that one bad game can cause a fanbase to turn on a player. Nevermind the fact that he was the subject to questionable calls throughout the game like that whack on his drive at the end.

People get upset after games. You're only as good as your last game. One game - Game 7 - will determine whether the Celtics had an awesome season or a crap one. It will determine whether the players are great or are hacks. Just the way it is in fandom. But I have faith in Kemba. He'll come good.  :police:
