That was a disappointing half. Raptors were begging the C's to start blowing them out. Tatum and Kemba have been a non factor to this point.

I agree - this shouldn't be nearly as close as it is and both Tatum and Kemba shouldn't be non-factors. There's no way they are both getting double teamed every time down the court.

The 3 spree from Marcus was helpful at the beginning of the game, but we can't count on that moving forward.

C's suck in the 3rd. That's why it would be nice to have a lead to fall back on. Ugh

Brad should have challenged that deflection.

It's a trend of his.  He doesn't like to challenge things early in the game.

Not a fan of it, really.  I'd rather use my challenge on a clear missed call than on something desperate just because it happens at the end of a game.
Don’t you get one challenge per half?  If so, he should have challenged with 1 minute left.

Pretty sure it's one the whole game, stupidly

Being up only +4 is slightly frustrating tbh
We missed a lot of open looks, while they are making tough baskets. At least that's what I felt watching it.
Still the best recipe in the 2H is to continue playing with the same urgency we had. Maybe pressure them in transition more, 1 TO per 24 minutes is a joke)) (we have only 5 tho)

Good work guys. All that hard work for a tiny lead. Letting them stay in it.

Yup. Great first half for Brown, but mostly undone by Tatum's bad shooting, Walker's containment, and a terrible end to the half.

Celtics FG% 39.1% - 3PT 8/23  Bench 28 minutes 10 pts
Raptors FG% 38.3% - 3PT 7/22 Bench 34 minutes 18 pts

Walker is 0-3 from the field

Tatum + Brown + Smart = 20 rebounds
The entire Toronto Raptor lineup = 20 rebounds

I guess if Kemba isn't feeling it, just run the defense through Robert Williams as he is 100% from the field tonight with 4 points.

Hopefully this is the game where we finally win the third quarter. These Raptors aren’t going away easily.

Yeah, was hoping for a much bigger lead going into the third, where the Cs have been sucking it up.

You should, it's a dumb system. Defeats the whole point if coaches aren't going to challenge blatantly wrong calls for fear of it coming back to hurt them late in game.

With the quality of officiating, that is indeed stupid. Guess Silver doesn’t want to slow the game down too much.
