  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
Call me crazy, but I'm more impressed with Tatum over Brown tonight. Brown scored 21 points on 18 shots. Good for him. When Tatum's shots aren't falling, he gets everyone involved on offense (4 assists and 0 turnovers tonight). When Brown's shots aren't falling, he just continues jacking up more shots.

Both Tatum and Brown can create their own shots. What makes Tatum the better player (at least imo) is the fact that he can create shots for his teammates as well.
That's crazy

Yeah, Brown may be missing some shots, but at least he is aggressive and engaged. I know Tatum has a few assists, but he is just kinda dragging along. I expect a lot more from him in the 2nd half.

Smart returning to the norm in this quarter, jeesh
As soon as I post anything bad about him he turns on god-mode.

Smart, you smell!

I love what Wanamaker brings for the money he’s paid but lest be honest :
He shouldn’t be getting major minutes in a high stake game like this. That’s on Danny for the shallow bench

One day, the Celtics WILL have a great 3rd quarter. It has to happen at some point, right??

Terrible decision by Kemba.  Why leave VanVleet open?

We had the best 3Q point differential throughout the season, but have lost the plot with it in the bubble

Just do your job, Kemba.  I know you're frustrated, but stop freelancing.

That is some dumb, dumb D, Kemba. Why the heck would you help off FVV?

Tatum can pass out of the double team. Not sure Brown can do the same thing.

Btw, 5th assist by Tatum in transition! Love it!

Kemba is a big huge 140m dollar MIA so far. Does he have more fouls than points?

Love seeing Theis take it aggressively to the hoop with Gasol out on the perimeter
