Playoff basketball. Gotta love it

It was predictable that this would happen. All the lead changes and Toronto staying so close with us suggested they could win in this manner today

Why did we give up a three when we were up two???
Because Brown went braindead at the most vital momemt of the game.

Oh well, on to the next.  Hopefully this fires the C's up.  That was an awful 2nd half we put together.

That's on Tatum. He let Anonoby go to the far corner all alone. If he stays with him, we win. Unbelievable screw-up by Tatum.

No, that was Brown's typical poor help D.  What a joke.

Nope - watch the full replay. Tatum screwed up.

Brown once again proving he's only capable of on-ball defence. What a disgraceful defensive possession. Asleep at the bloody wheel

Not Brown's man, Ananoby belonged to Tatum and he let him go. Watch the replay (if you can stomach it).
We were playing zone

Jaylen has to help on the Gasol roll to the bucket, because they are down two with .5 am at rim tip in is a real threat. Then he has to recover all the way to the corner on a great pass. That wasn't a bad play by Brown, just a really good play by TOR.

Just left the hottest 3pt shooter of the series wide open.

...what could possibly go wrong!

I mean, if you're not going to start the clock when the player actually catches the ball, of course he can catch and shoot in .5 seconds.  That shot definitely took longer than .5 seconds to release from the time it touched his hands.

Still, heck of a shot that never should have happened if someone didn't blow their assignment.

Well we'll see how one play can turn a series.  C's look like the better team, but that's the way it goes. Need the win on Saturday.

should have been playing man but it was Tatum's man and Tatum was guarding no one at the time of the pass.

Marcus Smart was screaming for Jaylen to go back to OG, but Jaylen lost him and the Celtics lost their chance to bury Toronto

Ugh, just so livid right now. Between Brad's ridiculous Kanter substitution getting their guards in a groove and that boneheaded play by Brown, I'm just sick to my stomach now.

As good as an individual defender that Brown is, he's just as poor of a help defender. So frustrating. Especially given that OG has been nothing but money from the corners all series long.

Weird ending)
We had 4 dunks, and gave up a good look at 3 eventually.
All in all, you can't always win. I think C's deserved a W today, but it's a good way for our guys to test themselves on how they respond to a loss like that)
