That was exhausting ;D
Just trying to sum it up a little bit:
1. Magical 4Q.
C's managed to reduce the number of TO to 7 in the second half, which is decent.
2. Tatum cooking.
Smarty :) :) :)
3. Kemba coming up big, when it was needed the most.
It's not like the series is over, but imagine being tied 1-1 now.. yikes
4. Incredible defense by Jaylen throughout the game on Siakam. 5 stocks in a game btw
5. Rob impressive once again.
6. I also would like to say some nice words about Grant. Not a particularly conspicuous performance, but he def made his presence felt by the Raps.
7. 3s keep falling.
8. Toronto gave everything they had and it still wasn't good enough. I just hope guys don't get overconfident :)

Robert Williams helped us win this. 11 pts is nothing to Scoff at. He’s contributing nicely and for a 26th pick or whatever he was, you let’s just say we got a heck of a steal.

I love TL and he came up huge in the 1st, but that's diminishing what Jaylen did. He was fantastic to start out the game.

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Is this a potential return of the Craptors? ;D

If VanVleet walks this summer, they are going to fade. They have him on a bargain deal right now. Also Gasol and Ibaka are getting up there. Lowry too.

They have a lot of money to spend - almost $50M expiring from Gasol and Ibaka alone. If they want VanVleet, they can have him (based on what we've seen this series  ;) )

But, yeah, outside of Siakam and Anunoby the superstar, they don't have a whole lot else going on. Not sure paying VanVleet $25M+/yr is the best use of a team's resources, but Toronto isn't exactly the hottest FA destination.

I'm glad they got the banner last year. But, the fact that they lost Leonard is really pretty sad.   Toronto finally builds a team and then lose their superstar to Los Angeles.  Glad it wasn't to the Lakers.  Toronto would have been (should have been) a perennial threat.  Now they'll likely waste away.

Ya I would save your pity. The team is really good as is, will likely have significant cap space that they will be saving for the big summer of 21', has excellent building blocks in Siakam, FVF and OG, and really just needs a number one option for all their roles to fall into place.

Plus lets not bury them just yet, they were down 0-2 last year t MIL and came back.

Definitely not feeling that this series is over -- not by a longshot.  Have doubts that they'll attract that #1 or keep their core.  But I do think they are good enough to win this series.

The Raptors are an excellent team, very well coached with a great group of players who work well together, but I just don't believe they have the firepower to beat this Celtics team in a 7 game series, even with Hayward out. We have the 3 best scorers on the floor in Tatum, Brown and Walker. Siakam is not a good enough scorer to carry a contender in today's NBA. Not taking away from the great job Tatum and the Celtics have done on him on defense, but he's not a premier scorer.

Today's my birthday, so I'm counting this as a present from the team; it's the first win on my birthday by the Celtics in NBA history! ;D

TP for your Birthday!!

We played bad for long stretches and still eeked out a victory. I’ll take it!

Yup, couldn't agree more...utmost respect but never a real threat to repeat without kawhi.. heart of a champion though and could still come back in this series based on that so props to them but I like our talent more.

I wonder if Brad was experimenting with doubling Siakam. That left their shooters wide open. Itis looking more and more that Siakam does not need to be doubled. Stay home with their shooters and get a strong body on Siakam.

I don't think Brad played Ojeleye in the second half at all. Ojeleye has been given three years by the Cs and he has not been able to deliver. Not even one spark game.
